I have over 35 years experience in Genealogy. My passion and enthusiasm was born from wanting to trace my paternal Grandfathers roots. Back then I spent many hours at my local records office in Suffolk. Searching Census records, Manorial records, Bishops transcipts and any other record that I could find. Along the way my journey took me through the various time lines in which my forefathers lived. All the time learning about history. It slowly brought flesh to their bones and a feeling of knowing long forgotten people. The funny thing about Genealogy though is, it’s never finished. There is always something new coming along. New records or newspaper clippings appear and so on it goes.
So now I spend my time building family trees and charts to varying sizes for others. Following their paper trail through time. Adding flesh to their bones or leaves to their trees.
Using Genetic Genealogy (DNA) I have successfully managed to trace biological parentage for clients. Although this can take months to complete. It is handy if you are adopted or have an unknown parent and would like to find your history. You could be surprised at your own ethnicity too.
